Biomechanics

Our bio-mechanical evaluations determine a horse's potential capabilities as an athlete or producer by taking fifteen precise measurements of its skeletal anatomy and comparing these measurements to the horses contained in our database. Using custom-designed computer programs, we analyze the data, looking for ratios and proportions that resemble those of successful horses. The final analysis consists of an overall grade summarizing the horse's ability and several recommendations about how to maximize its performance. The horse's ranking can range from A+ to C.  A horse possessing champion potential is identified as an A+ to A or an ELITE horse. As the pie chart below illustrates, identifying the elite horse is the key to success in the thoroughbred business..

This Database is Unparalleled - Cecil Seaman & Co., LLC
has measured 98,932 horses since 1969.
