Cecil Seaman & Co., L.L.C. is a Lexington, Kentucky based consulting firm specializing in genetics and bio-mechanical analysis. Mr. Cecil Seaman, President, founded the company in 1977 utilizing bio-mechanical measurements he began collecting in 1969. He and Jonathan Seaman have personally measured over 82,000 thoroughbreds in the company's database.

Supporting Mr. Seaman is a team of highly motivated, skilled thoroughbred industry professionals. We achieve success through a carefully structured three-step process. Our quest for excellence begins, of course, with the thoroughbred. We analyze every horse individually, taking 15 important measurements and performing an assiduous conformation and symmetry analysis.

Armed with this critical information, we then turn to our next area of expertise - computer programming and database management. Our extensive and unique database helps us to formulate expectations for a horse based on its own qualities as well as qualities of up to 3,000 horses in its immediate family. We look at a variety of factors critical to the potential racing and breeding success of a thoroughbred.
