Sire Progeny Analysis

Who's gonna be the new sire on the block?

Many horse people can assess a sire's progeny after he has bred three or four crops of foals, but we have the unique capability of performing this analysis while his first crop are yearlings, before the progeny have raced. This gives our clients the advantage of purchasing shares or seasons of a sire while his price is still low.

Measuring Success

We analyze new stallions using both our exclusive Sire Progeny Analysis SUMS Reports (results on left of the graphics below) and the GDT Report (on right of the graphics below).

The SUMS Report summarizes the Grade Report and Biomechanical Analysis for the progeny of a specific stallion. Before a stallion's progeny hit the racetrack, we know if they have the biomechanical requisites necessary to be top athletes. The graphs below summarize the SUMS Reports for the six stallions in our study.

The GDT Report assesses the biomechanical qualities of a horse and ancestors in its pedigree. A consistent color pattern characterizes horses with a high probability of being elite racing and breeding stock.

Utilizing SIRE PROGENY ANALYSIS, we identified DYNAFORMER, RED RANSOM, and SEEKING THE GOLD as leading sires before their first crops raced.

As a result, we purchased:

  • BAIL OUT BECKY (Red Ransom - Becky Be Good)
  • BLUMIN AFFAIR (Dynaformer - Medical Affair)
  • PETIONVILLE (Seeking The Gold - Vana Turns)
for our clients from these stallions' first crops of foals with stunning results!
